Esthederm is based on an innovative scientific approach, inspired by cellular biology and the skin's ecosystem. But do their products live up to their reputation? Which skincare products deserve a place in your routine? I'm sharing with you my top 3 tested and approved Esthederm products.
⭐ My opinion is based on my personal experience, supplemented by an analysis of customer reviews available on the app BeautyDecoded.
Founded in 1970 by Jean-Noël Thorel, a pharmacist and expert in cellular biology, Esthederm is committed to a unique approach: preserving the skin's health and ecosystem to reveal its natural beauty. Through its skincare products, the brand claims a perfect osmosis with skin cells.
Their distinctive features include formulas enriched with patented active ingredients such as Cellular Water, which mimics the water naturally present in our bodies, or the patented Age Proteom™, which protects skin proteins from aging.
With a variety of ranges to meet different needs (moisturizing, anti-aging, radiance, sun protection), Esthederm offers solutions for all ages and skin types.
Esthederm's Age Proteom Advanced serum contains an extract of extremophilic bacteria, the Micrococcus lysateknown for its ability to protect skin proteins against oxidative damage and glycation, processes which accelerate skin ageing. However, the concentration of this ingredient is not specified, which raises questions about its real effectiveness.
The formula also includes Esthederm's patented Cellular Water, enriched with mineral salts, algae, adenosine and carnosine, to harmonize cellular exchanges and maintain healthy skin. The serum offers a balance of emollients and humectants, favoring epidermal hydration.
On application, the texture is pleasant and quickly absorbed, but a relatively large quantity is required, which can lead to rapid consumption of the bottle. After a month's use, a noticeable improvement in skin radiance and softness is observed. Nevertheless, the presence of a strong fragrance may not suit all users.
The serum is priced at 95 euros for a 30 ml airless bottle, a substantial investment to consider according to one's preferences and tolerance to fragrances. My opinion on the serum Intensive Vitamin C² Serum
💡 My final opinion An excellent option for introducing vitamin C into your routine. However, sensitive skin will need to be careful with its fragrant formula. Note: 8.5/10.

This serum targets deep wrinkles and loss of firmness thanks to its retinol-enriched formula. Its oily texture penetrates effectively to boost collagen, elastin and hyaluronic acid production, while nourishing the skin with botanical oils.
💡 My final opinion Despite its effectiveness, the lack of a precise retinol concentration and the addition of fragrance are negative points. A good choice if you already have a tolerance to retinol. Note: 8/10.

This soothing lotion is ideal for sensitive skin. Enriched with moisturizing sugars and glycyrrhizat, it calms redness and intensely rehydrates, while preparing the skin to receive subsequent skin care products.
💡 My final opinion An excellent toner to complete your cleansing routine, although it does not remove make-up. Note: 9/10.
Overall, Esthederm offers high-quality skincare products, backed by solid scientific patents. However, some inconsistencies remain, notably the use of fragrance in formulas for sensitive skin, and the lack of transparency regarding the concentration of active ingredients.
Overall rating for Esthederm: 8.5/10
A brand to try out for its biotechnological advances, but with discernment according to your specific needs.
