How do I apply Typology retinol serum?
Retinol is the most effective anti-aging molecule, but also the most irritating. If you want to give yourself the best chance of tolerating vitamin A, I advise you to proceed as follows.
Start in winter, every third evening, with low doses such as 0.2 or 0.3 %, then gradually increase concentration and frequency.
During this adaptation phase, stop using vitamin C, peptides and fruit acids. The mixture would be too aggressive for your skin.
Automatically top up with a high SPF sunscreen to complete your morning beauty routine.
If irritation persists, stop using retinol.
Do not apply this product at eye level.
After cleansing, dry skin thoroughly. Wait two to three minutes before applying Typology serum, as moisture draws retinol too deeply into the skin, causing irritation. Take 3 to 4 drops and smooth the fluid into your face, neck and the backs of your hands.
