Glycolic acid, the main AHA in the formula, acts on the surface by breaking the bonds between corneocytes, promoting cell renewal and radiance. Lactic acid, tartaric acid and citric acid complete this exfoliating action, while contributing to pH balance. Fat-soluble salicylic acid (BHA at 2%) penetrates pores to dissolve sebaceous plugs and exert a keratolytic and slightly anti-inflammatory action. The formula incorporates soothing and moisturizing agents - panthenol, sodium hyaluronate crosspolymer, glycerine and aloe vera leaf water - to limit post-exfoliation irritation. Tasmannia lanceolata extract provides antioxidant properties. This product is suitable for dull, uneven, acne-prone or enlarged-pore skin, but is not recommended for sensitive or reactive skin.
