Banila Co's Clean It Zero is a solid-textured make-up remover balm that transforms into oil on contact with the skin. Its base is **ethylhexyl palmitate** and **cetyl ethylhexanoate**, two emollient esters that effectively dissolve make-up, sebum and lipophilic impurities by chemical affinity, including waterproof formulas. The **PEG-20 glyceryl triisostearate** and **PEG-10 isostearate** act as emulsifiers, enabling the product to rinse off easily with water without leaving a residual greasy film. The formula incorporates several botanical extracts with antioxidant properties: **Lithospermum erythrorhizon root extract** (shikonin), **Rooibos extract** (*Aspalathus linearis*) and **acerola** (*Malpighia glabra*), which help limit oxidative stress during make-up removal.
