Caprylic\/capric triglycerides (fractionated coconut oil) lighten the texture and facilitate spreading without occlusive residue. Sorbeth-30 tetraolate acts as an emulsifier, enabling the oil to be rinsed off with water without leaving a greasy film. Pentylene glycol provides mild antimicrobial and humectant activity. Stearyl glycyrrhetinate, derived from licorice, provides a mild soothing and anti-inflammatory action, useful for reactive skin. Tocopherol (vitamin E) protects lipids from oxidation and helps protect the skin barrier. Rosemary essential oil completes the formula with its antioxidant properties. This product is suitable for normal to dry skin, including sensitive skin, and is particularly suited to those wearing resistant make-up or using high-hold sunscreens.
