Its cleansing base combines sodium C14-16 olefin sulfonate, cocoin betaine and coco-glucoside, gentle surfactants that eliminate impurities while limiting damage to the hydrolipidic film. Glycerine and pentylene glycol act as humectants, retaining water in the superficial layers of the epidermis. Saccharide isomerate (a structural analogue of the natural moisturizing factor) boosts the skin's long-term moisture retention capacity. Alpha-glucan oligosaccharide supports the skin microbiome by acting as a prebiotic. Niacinamide (vitamin B3) helps strengthen the skin barrier by stimulating ceramide synthesis, and attenuates mild inflammatory reactions. Coconut and cottonseed oils, as well as glyceryl oleate, provide lipids to compensate for wash-induced losses. Tocopherol and tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E) complete the formula with antioxidant action.
