Its aqueous base combined with **ethylhexyl palmitate** (an emollient ester of lipidic origin) dissolves and removes impurities and light make-up without altering the skin's hydrolipidic film. Glycerine** and dipropylene glycol** act as humectants, keeping the stratum corneum hydrated during cleansing. Carbomer** neutralized by sodium hydroxide gives the formula its light gel texture and stability. Preservation is ensured by a gentle system based on **ethylhexylglycerine** and **caprylyl glycol**, avoiding the use of parabens or classically irritating preservatives. The formula is fragrance-, colorant- and alcohol-free, making it particularly suitable for reactive skin, prone to redness or with a weakened cutaneous barrier.
