Its moderate concentration makes it suitable for sensitive or reactive skin that has difficulty tolerating more concentrated exfoliating formulas. The formula incorporates several soothing and protective active ingredients: allantoin promotes healing and calms irritation, tocopherol (vitamin E) has an antioxidant action, and extracts of *Laminaria digitata* (brown algae) and *Opuntia ficus-indica* help strengthen the skin barrier and limit oxidative stress. Inulin and alpha-glucan oligosaccharide support the cutaneous microbiome, while schizophyllan (fungal polysaccharide) and galactoarabinane provide surface hydration. Methylpropanediol and propanediol optimize penetration of active ingredients.
