Wishful's **Yo Glow Enzyme Scrub** is a bi-active exfoliant combining enzymatic and chemical exfoliation. It contains **bromelain** (a pineapple enzyme) and **papain** (a papaya enzyme), which hydrolyze the peptide bonds of dead surface cells without aggressive mechanical friction. This action is complemented by a complex of **fruit acids (AHA)** - glycolic, lactic, malic, tartaric - and **salicylic acid (BHA)**, which dissolve corneocytes by breaking down intercellular bridges and unclog pores. Cellulose** provides a gentle mechanical component. Sodium hyaluronate** and **glycerine** offset the potential drying effect of acids, while extracts of **ginger, rose centifolia, green tea (Camellia sinensis)** and **mango** provide antioxidant and soothing properties. Gluconolactone** (PHA) boosts hydration and skin tolerance. This product is suitable for dull, irregular-textured skin with dilated pores or slight hyperkeratosis. Due to the density of the acid complex, it is not recommended for very sensitive, reactive skin or skin with an altered cutaneous barrier.
