This cleansing gel formulated by BepanthenDerma is specifically designed for dry to very dry skin. Its cleansing base is based on gentle plant-derived surfactants - lauryl glucoside, sodium cocoamphoacetate and disodium cocoyl glutamate - which cleanse without damaging the skin's hydrolipidic film. Panthenol (provitamin B5) plays a moisturizing and soothing role, penetrating the superficial layers of the epidermis where it converts to pantothenic acid, helping to repair the cutaneous barrier. Niacinamide (vitamin B3) helps reinforce this same barrier by stimulating ceramide synthesis, and has mild anti-inflammatory properties. Glycerine acts as a humectant, retaining water in the horny layers. Argan oil (*Argania spinosa* kernel oil), rich in unsaturated fatty acids and tocopherols, provides nourishment and protection. Lysine, an essential amino acid, contributes to the skin's structural support. Guar hydroxypropyltrimonium chloride ensures a soft texture and a conditioning effect on the skin surface.
