Cicaplast Baume B5+ SPF 50 is a multifunctional formula combining broad-spectrum sun protection and skin-repair action. In terms of photoprotection, it combines five UV filters: Bis-Ethylhexyloxyphenol Methoxyphenyl Triazine and Ethylhexyl Triazone (photostable organic UVA\/UVB filters), Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane (UVA), Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl Hexyl Benzoate (UVA) and Phenylbenzimidazole Sulfonic Acid (UVB), as well as Terephthalylidene Dicamphor Sulfonic Acid (long UVA), for extended spectral coverage. Panthenol (provitamin B5) supports epidermal regeneration by promoting keratinocyte proliferation and reinforcing barrier function. Madecassoside, a triterpene isolated from Centella asiatica, has an anti-inflammatory action and stimulates collagen synthesis. Zinc gluconate and manganese gluconate help regulate local inflammatory processes. Glycerine and pentylene glycol ensure hydration through a humectant effect, while dimeticone forms a protective occlusive film. The biotic complex (Vitreoscilla ferment, Lactobacillus, alpha-glucan oligosaccharide) aims to support the balance of the skin microbiome.
