This hydrolat naturally contains phenylpropanoid and terpene compounds - including citronellol, geraniol, linalool and eugenol - which give it soothing, slightly astringent and antioxidant properties on the epidermis. Polyepsilon-lysine, a polypeptide of fermentative origin, acts as a mild antimicrobial agent, contributing to the microbiological stability of the formula without the need for conventional synthetic preservatives. This product is particularly suitable for sensitive, reactive or redness-prone skin, for use as an after-cleansing toner, refreshing mist or preparation base for subsequent skincare products.
