Its main active ingredient, salicylic acid (BHA), works by keratolysis: it penetrates the pore, dissolves sebaceous plugs and promotes cell renewal, helping to reduce blackheads and blemishes. Sodium cocoamphoacetate, an amphoteric surfactant of coconut origin, ensures gentle cleansing while limiting irritation, while sodium laureth sulfate reinforces the foaming and degreasing action. Propylene glycol acts as a humectant and solvent, maintaining minimal moisture levels during cleansing. The formula is buffered with citric acid to optimize the effectiveness of salicylic acid at acid pH. This gel is suitable for combination to oily skin with imperfections, blackheads or mild to moderate acne.
