This K-beauty gel cleanser is based on a gentle cleansing base combining lauryl hydroxysultaine, sodium C14-16 olefin sulfonate and sodium methyl cocoyl taurate, surfactants with good skin tolerance, although sodium C14-16 olefin sulfonate may be slightly irritating on very sensitive skin. Glycerin ensures moisture retention during rinsing. The main active ingredient, Centella asiatica extract, is recognized for its soothing and repairing properties, notably via its triterpene derivatives (madecassoside, asiaticoside) which support the cutaneous barrier. The formula also includes a combination of essential amino acids (glutamine, leucine, phenylalanine, lysine, arginine, valine, threonine, isoleucine, methionine, tryptophan) which help maintain the hydrolipidic film and the structural integrity of the epidermis. Botanical extracts (chamomile, sage, rosehip, jasmine, mint, lavender, rosemary, lemon balm) provide complementary antioxidant and soothing properties, although their concentrations at the end of the list are probably low.
