Comedogenic index: 0
PROPANEDIOL DICAPRYLATE is a diester composed of 1,3-propanediol and a defined blend of C8/C10 fatty acids derived from palm kernel oil or coconut oil. It leaves skin feeling light, dry, non-greasy, smooth and silky, while reducing the sticky feel of formulations.
It offers a tactile sensation similar to that of volatile silicones, but in a plant-based version. Its unique sensorial properties make it the ester of choice for the formulation of skin care and make-up products, giving them a silky, ultra-comfortable feel. Its properties as an anti-UV sunscreen dispersant make it an ideal ingredient for the formulation of sun protection products.
