Say goodbye to unnecessary get visible results!

BHA cos is an Asian brand that I particularly like for its minimalist philosophy and formulas. alcohol-free and fragrance-free. Perfect for sensitive skins, it offers a wide range of targeted treatments based on powerful active ingredients such as tranexamic acid, niacinamide, and azelaic acid.

I tested several products from their range, some of which won me over, while others didn't work for me. Here's my comprehensive review, with details about their effects, their active ingredients, and my results.

1. Azelaic acid serum 10 %

This serum contains:

  • 10 % of azelaic acid : to reduce hyperpigmentation, soothe redness, and treat rosacea.
  • Niacinamide and hyaluronic acid : to moisturize and even out skin tone.

💡 My experience :
Unfortunately, this serum had no noticeable effect on my pigmentation spot. Azelaic acid is not the most effective lightening ingredient for me. However, I really like its texture. light gelatinous, easy to apply and non-irritating.

2. Niacinamide 20 % + Zinc 4 % Serum

A real favorite This serum targets:

  • Sebum production : regulates without dehydrating.
  • Imperfections : reduces pores and soothes inflammation.
  • The sparkle : thanks to the presence of alpha-arbutin.

💡 Why do I love it?

  • Effect anti-acne visible.
  • Texture light and non-greasy which plumps up the skin.
  • Incredible value for money (€10 for 30 ml).

3. Alpha-Arbutin Serum 5 % + Niacinamide 5 %

This serum promises to treat:

  • Hyperpigmentation and acne scars.
  • Uneven skin tone.

💡 My experience :
Despite its fine promises, the’alpha-arbutin doesn't work for me, even at this concentration. However, the texture remains pleasant and gel-like. If this active ingredient works for you, this serum is an excellent option at an affordable price (€8-9).

4. AHA/BHA Toner + Niacinamide

This exfoliating toner contains:

  • Glycolic acid (AHA) and salicylic acid (BHA) : to smooth the skin texture.
  • Niacinamide : to unify and soothe.

💡 My opinion :
The texture is highly liquid and offers a gentle exfoliating effect. Skin texture is smoother and brighter without irritation. An excellent toner for sensitive skin types who want to introduce acids into their routine.

5. Hyaluronic Acid + B5 Hydrating Serum

A basic ultra-moisturizing, featuring:

  • Hyaluronic acid : to plump up the skin.
  • Panthenol and niacinamide : to soothe and strengthen the skin barrier.

💡 Why adopt it?
Its texture gelatinized Instantly penetrates and leaves skin feeling comfortable. It is a simple, effective serum that is perfectly suited to minimalist routines.

6. Vitamin C Serum 15 %

This serum contains:

  • 15 % of vitamin C : to brighten the complexion and fade dark spots.
  • Hyaluronic acid and panthenol : to moisturize and soothe.

💡 My experience :
Another favorite This serum has:

  • Brightened my complexion.
  • Brought a true brilliance without irritation.

It's one of the few vitamin Cs that my skin tolerates perfectly. At less than €10, it's a must-have for sensitive skin.

7. Tranexamic acid serum 5 %

This serum targets:

  • Pigment spots.
  • Uneven skin tone.

💡 My opinion :
Although effective, I prefer other tranexamic acid serums that work faster for me, such as the one from The Inkey List. That said, its light texture and affordable price make it a good product for beginners.

My final verdict on Cos de BHA

This brand is a real gem for sensitive skin thanks to its alcohol- and fragrance-free formulas and its excellent value for money. Some assets didn't work for me, but that doesn't mean they won't work for you.

🌟 My favorites:

  • Vitamin C Serum 15 %.
  • Peptide toner + Niacinamide.

In a nutshell: Cos de BHA is a must-have brand for a minimalist, targeted skincare routine that is suitable even for reactive skin. I will continue to explore their products, especially their high-performance serums.
