My opinion on the 101 range: the ideal foundation for a minimalist routine

The range 101 is the perfect introduction to the Geek & Gorgeous universe. Essential, well-formulated products for all skin types. Here are the ones I've tested and my impressions!

1. Porefectly Clear – BHA Serum 2%

My opinion: Genuine favorite, This serum with 21% salicylic acid effectively fights blemishes, refines skin texture, and reduces enlarged pores. Its gel texture is ultra-light and absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy finish, unlike products such as Paula's Choice BHA lotion.
✅ Highlights : Pleasant texture, quickly absorbed, highly effective.
Price : Approximately €8.

2. Liquid Hydration – Hydrating Toner

My opinion: This toner is concentrated in panthenol (5%), a soothing and moisturizing active ingredient, and also contains rice proteins and allantoin to strengthen the skin barrier. Very fluid and light, it penetrates instantly, but does not give the “plumped” effect of gel toners.
✅ Highlights : Moisturizing, soothing, non-sticky.
❌ Minor drawbacks: The texture is too runny for me.
Price : Approximately €8 for 110 mL.

3. A-Game 5 and A-Game 10 – Retinal Serums

• A-Game 5 (0.05% of retinal): Perfect for begin with this powerful anti-aging active ingredient. It stimulates collagen production, smooths wrinkles, and firms the skin. Its creamy yellow texture is pleasant and absorbs quickly.
• A-Game 10 (0.1% of retinal): More concentrated, it is intended for experienced users for faster results.

✅ Highlights : Very effective for anti-aging, well formulated.
❌ Caution: Introduce gradually to avoid irritation.
Price : A-Game 5 at 13 €, A-Game 10 at 18,50 €.

4. aPAD – Azelaic Acid Serum

My opinion: This liquid serum contains 6% of potassium azeloyl diglycinate, a derivative of azelaic acid. It regulates sebum production, combats hyperpigmentation spots, and soothes redness. Unlike other azelaic acid products, which often come in cream form, its fluid texture absorbs easily, making it perfect for use under makeup.
✅ Highlights : Lightweight, non-fluffy, ideal for oily skin prone to redness.
Price : Approximately €10.

5. C-Glow – Vitamin C Serum

My opinion: With 15% of vitamin C, Containing ferulic acid and vitamin E, this serum brightens the complexion and protects the skin against aging. Its water-based formula is ideal for oily skin, but it oxidizes quickly (6 weeks outside the refrigerator). Store in a cool place for optimal effectiveness.
✅ Highlights : Light texture, visible results in radiance.
❌ Caution: Unstable, can be stored for a maximum of 3 months.
Price : Approximately €10.
