Isoamyl Laurate is a colorless to yellowish oily liquid that is promoted as a natural alternative to silicone. It is said to have excellent sensory properties: light yet nourishing, velvety, silky and non-sticky.

It is also highly effective at dissolving UV filters in sunscreens or dispersing pigments in make-up products.
