Composition and properties of Avocado Oil
This oil is an excellent source of essential fatty acids for the skin, including linolenic acid omega-3, linoleic acid omega-6, oleic acid and beta-sitosterol. These components help maintain skin hydration and prevent water loss, thus avoiding signs of skin dehydration.

Soothing and softening effects
In addition to moisturizing, avocado oil has the ability to visibly smooth, soften and calm the skin. It is also a source of various natural antioxidants, such as vitamins A, C, D and E.

Reinforcing the skin barrier
On altered skin, avocado oil can increase hydroxyproline content, an amino acid essential for boosting the skin's feeling of firmness and its protective barrier.

Polyphenolic antioxidants
Avocado seed oil contains polyphenols, including catechin, epicatechin and 3-leucoanthocyanidins. These antioxidants work synergistically to neutralize many types of free radicals before they can damage the skin.
