My top 3 products with vitamin C derivatives!
The first is Drunk Elephant's famous C-Tango eye contour. From my point of view, it's good practice to multiply the vitamin C derivatives in a product, and C tango contains 5 of them. In my opinion, this minimizes the risk of betting everything on a single derivative that doesn't live up to its promises. The exception to this rule is for very watery serums, which can't use fat-soluble derivatives anyway.

C-Tetra EF Theramid
The second is C-TETRA E.F from Théramid. It's formulated with 3 vitamin C derivatives: ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate, ascorbyl glucoside and Ascorbosilane. I haven't talked about this derivative, but to sum up, it's not too bad and is used to improve the texture of a product. In addition to the 3 vitamin C derivatives, they've added vitamin E and ferulic acid. The product's overall formulation is fairly balanced and suitable for normal to dry and combination skin.

Products based on Vitamin C derivatives are not scams, and can be very good alternatives to serums containing pure Vitamin C if you have sensitive skin. However, don't hesitate to look carefully at the ingredients list to identify which vitamin C derivative is being used and see what position it occupies in the formula, so as not to be taken in by a product containing only a very small amount of vitamin C. Remember, the further down the list the ingredient is, the less it is present in the formulation!
