The formula is completed by butylene glycol and 1,2-hexanediol, two humectants that capture water in the superficial layers of the epidermis while exerting a gentle preserving action. Hydroxyethylcellulose and carbomer ensure a slightly gelled texture for easy application and adhesion to the skin, while arginine, a basic amino acid, helps balance the formula's pH and supports the skin's natural repair mechanisms. BIS-PEG-18 Methyl Ether Dimethyl Silane provides a slippery, comfortable feel without excessive occlusion. This product is particularly suitable for dehydrated, sensitive or reactive skin, as well as for combination skin seeking targeted hydration without lipid overload. It is ideal as the first step in a routine, after cleansing, to prepare the skin for the absorption of subsequent skin care products.
