Visit 100-hour non-stop hydration serum from Yves Rocher is primarily intended for skin lacking moisture, whether dry, normal, or dehydrated. This product aims to restore and maintain optimal moisture levels in the epidermis, which is essential for preserving radiance, suppleness, and the skin barrier. Based on my analysis, the formula is based on active ingredients known for their moisturizing properties, while remaining light and suitable for daily use, even on sensitive skin.
Formula Analysis: Key Assets
Three key active ingredients structure the effectiveness of this serum:
- Hyaluronic acid (in the form of hyaluronic acid and sodium hyaluronate): acts like a molecular sponge, retaining up to 1,000 times its weight in water. It plumps the skin, smooths dehydration lines, and improves skin texture.
- Glycerine : a benchmark humectant, it attracts and binds water in the stratum corneum, strengthening the skin barrier and limiting insensible water loss.
- Extract of Carpobrotus edulis : this plant-based active ingredient, the brand's signature, stimulates the skin's natural hydration mechanisms and optimizes water circulation between cells.
The presence of aloe vera complements the soothing and moisturizing action, making the formula particularly beneficial for skin prone to tightness.
Tips and Application Ritual
I apply this serum morning and night to clean skin before moisturizer. It fits perfectly into a minimalist or more elaborate routine. It is compatible with most active ingredients (niacinamide, vitamin C), but I recommend avoiding immediate combination with highly exfoliating products (AHA/BHA acids) to limit the risk of irritation.
My Final Verdict & Safety Opinion
This serum stands out for its light, non-sticky texture and long-lasting moisturizing properties. Its subtle fragrance is suitable for most people, but may not be ideal for ultra-sensitive skin. In conclusion, it is an excellent choice for restoring and maintaining skin hydration, with very good tolerance.

Written review of the BeautyDecoded application -
My pimple challenge
I used this serum for 2 to 3 weeks.
It didn't suit me at all, firstly because of the very strong smell of the product, then my skin reacted very badly to the application (redness and tingling) and finally imperfections appeared during the day.
Maybe it's due to a mix-up with other cosmetics I was using, but in any case, before I added it to my routine, I didn't have as many imperfections.
