Glycolic acid (AHA) acts on the surface to dissolve the bonds between dead epidermal cells, promoting cell renewal and a radiant complexion. Fat-soluble salicylic acid (BHA) penetrates pores to dislodge impurities and accumulated sebum, making it a particularly relevant active ingredient for acne-prone skin or skin with dilated pores. Fruit water from *Prunus mume* (Japanese green plum), the brand's signature ingredient, provides astringent and antioxidant properties. The formula also includes *Panax ginseng* extract with adaptogenic and revitalizing properties, rice bran water (*Oryza sativa*) rich in B vitamins and amino acids, and *Portulaca oleracea* with soothing and antioxidant effects. Humectants such as glycerine and sodium PCA complete the formula to limit the drying effect of exfoliation. Not for me
Exfoliating lotion dosed with 2% AHA (Ac. Glycolique) and 0.5% BHA (Ac. Salicylique) that I used 1 to 3 times a week in the evening depending on the areas of the face. Doesn't suit me, seems too strong for my skin (slight tingling on application, followed by a feeling of tight, tingling, burning skin with sebum secretion on the T-zone). Brightens the complexion fairly quickly. I'm going to stick to much gentler exfoliants (Ac mandelique, PHA) which suit me better and which are actually more recommended by the app for my skin type (combination skin prone to redness with visible pores on the T-zone). At first sight, it's glycolic acid that doesn't suit my face, even at low doses.
