Mediceutics Pre-peel Cleanser is a preparatory cleanser formulated with glycolic acid, a naturally-derived alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) renowned for its ability to dissolve the bonds between corneocytes, thus promoting superficial exfoliation and even skin texture. This keratolytic action prepares the skin to better absorb the active ingredients applied in the next phase, notably during chemical peeling protocols. The detergent system combines sodium laureth sulfate (SLES), a cleansing anionic surfactant, with cocamidopropyl betaine, an amphoteric surfactant that softens the formula and limits irritation. The pH is adjusted with sodium hydroxide to optimize the effectiveness of glycolic acid. This product is primarily intended for skin with a hyperkeratotic, dull or irregular tendency, and is part of a professional or para-professional protocol. Its use is not recommended on sensitive or reactive skin without prior advice, due to the presence of AHAs and SLES.

this prepeel cleanser is excellent! i use it 2 or 3 times a week ( except in the evening tretinoine ) and my skin looks great the next morning. .
