One serum I've been testing for several months is from the Mimétique brand. This serum contains a vitamin C derivative in sixth position, niacinamide in fourth, oats, various plant extracts and hyaluronic acid. Like other marquess, Mimétique is in the biomimetic ingredients niche, thanks to its SMR C-5 complex, which provides 5 active ingredients naturally present in our skin. The first is L-Carnosine, a synthetic biomimetic peptide which seeks to emulate carnosine naturally present in the body. It offers a host of anti-aging properties and protects against oxidative stress. In second place is sodium PCA, a natural moisturizing factor. In third place, saccharide isomerate is a complex blend of moisturizing sugars derived from corn, with humectant properties. In this case, the result corresponds closely to the carbohydrates naturally present in the skin's natural moisturizing factor (NMF).

The last two are an extract of Saccharomyces cerevisiae, a baker's yeast which is a fungus with a mimetic action on certain skin elements, and an extract of Chlorella vulgaris, a green algae. All in all, I find this serum extremely well formulated, with a very pleasant texture, a subtle scent, and above all it really helps to restore radiance to the skin.
