Description

It contains niacinamide, also known as vitamin B3, which has powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It has been shown to improve skin texture, reduce the appearance of pores and strengthen the skin barrier. Niacinamide can also help reduce the appearance of wrinkles and pigmentation spots. And like all antioxidants, niacinamide protects against UV damage when combined with sunscreen. It is therefore an essential summer ingredient.
It also contains glycolic acid, an AHA, a fruit acid with exfoliating action on the horny layer of the epidermis. Its keratolytic action smoothes skin texture and reduces irregularities, diminishes dark spots and enhances radiance. However, in summer, if you use glycolic acid products in high doses and with a very acidic PH, you run the risk of damaging your skin barrier, creating inflammation and ultimately inducing a pigmentary rebound, i.e. worsening the situation and having more spots on your face after using such a product. This is also why medical peels are never carried out in summer.
However, the glycolic acid present here is low-dosed and the pH close to physiological PH, so you get gentle exfoliation without risk.
Also included are a vitamin C derivative, peptides, a ferment and hydrolyzed rice proteins, known to contain a wealth of complexion-enhancing active ingredients. There's also tranexamic acid, which has the ability to diminish skin spots, vascular redness and melasma. Because you can't see it with the naked eye, but melasma is caused by neovascularization. I've already talked about this in my video dedicated to melasma. It also contains glycerine to moisturize, alantoine to soothe and hepes, a buffering agent.
