A light cleansing oil formulated around an extract of *Centella asiatica* from Madagascar, recognized for its soothing and repairing properties via its triterpene heterosides (asiaticoside, madecassoside). The oil base is based on ethylhexyl stearate and cetyl ethylhexanoate, two fine-textured synthetic esters that effectively dissolve greasy residues, make-up and lipophilic impurities without leaving an occlusive film. Sorbeth-30 tetraole ate acts as an emulsifier, facilitating rinsing with water. Sunflower oil (*Helianthus annuus*) provides unsaturated fatty acids (linoleic in particular), while jojoba (*Simmondsia chinensis*) and olive (*Olea europaea*) oils help maintain the integrity of the hydrolipidic film. Essential oils of bergamot, geranium and Damask rose give a floral-lemon olfactory profile, but their presence implies a risk of skin sensitization (limonene, linalool declared as allergens). This product is suitable for normal to dry or sensitive skin looking for gentle make-up removal as a first step in double cleansing; it is not recommended for skin that is reactive to essential oils.

Good Oil
A very good make-up remover oil, it removes all make-up and even blackheads on the surface if emulsified with a little water on the second pass. Does not leave a greasy film after rinsing.
Slight lemony odor that may bother some.

Fine
Very light on the skin, emulsifies well, rinses off very well. However, the orange fragrance is so strong that I stopped using it after two purchases because I couldn't stand the smell any more.

stings the eyes
this oil removes make-up well as a first cleansing step
However, it stings the eyes and cannot be used as an eye make-up remover.
so I won't be buying it again

Too many allergens
I used it a few times but quickly stopped because I really don't feel I'm doing myself any good with this cleansing oil. Contains a lot of allergens and I think I'm particularly sensitive to damask rose, so it's not the 1st time this ingredient has come up in products that don't suit me. I'll pass.
