AQUA, ISODODECANE (Mineral Oil), ISOPROPYL PALMITATE (Potentially comedogenic), POTASSIUM PHOSPHATE, SODIUM CHLORIDE, POLOXAMER 184 (Nonionic surfactant), DIPOTASSIUM PHOSPHATE, HEXYLENE GLYCOL, POLYAMINOPROPYL BIGUANIDE, CI 61565 (Green dye) Respectissime by La Roche-Posay is a two-phase make-up remover specifically formulated for the eye contour area and waterproof make-up. Its oil phase, based on **isododecane** and **isopropyl palmitate**, acts by chemical affinity with water-resistant pigments and polymers, enabling them to dissolve efficiently without excessive mechanical friction. The aqueous phase, composed mainly of water and **sodium chloride**, ensures rinsing and comfort. Poloxamer 184**, a gentle poloxamer-type surfactant, acts as an emulsifier and facilitates residue removal. Hexylene glycol** contributes to formula stability and provides a light humectant effect. Preservation is ensured by **polyaminopropyl biguanide** (PHMB), a broad-spectrum antimicrobial agent used in low concentrations. The **CI 61565** colorant (green) helps to visually distinguish the two phases before shaking. This product is particularly suitable for sensitive skin and contact lens wearers, thanks to its pH buffered by the **potassium phosphate/dipotassium diphosphate** system and the absence of fragrance. I always come back to it
An excellent eye make-up remover, both very effective and very gentle. I discovered in the composition that it contains a potential comedogen, but personally I've never had any problems with this product. The only drawback is that I find the bottle empties very quickly after one use a day, and it costs around 15 euros, so it's not exactly cheap. But it's a must-have for me.
