Mustela oil is above all an emollient plant oil, designed to moisturize, soften and smooth the skin.
It creates a protective lipid film on the skin's surface, which :
limits transepidermal water loss (TEWL),
improves skin suppleness and softness,
reinforces the cutaneous barrier, especially useful for sensitive or dry skin.
2. Typical composition and cosmetic benefits
Mustela oils are formulated from a blend of natural vegetable oils rich in essential fatty acids:
Avocado oil: regenerating, rich in omega 9 and vitamins A, D, E.
Sunflower oil: rich in linoleic acid (omega 6), helps restore the skin barrier.
Pomegranate or maracuja oil (depending on range): antioxidant effect, protects against oxidative stress.
Rosehip oil (in certain formulas): promotes healing and prevention of stretch marks.
These ingredients have been chosen for their high tolerance, even for babies, pregnant women and sensitized skin.

Mustela Massage Oil: improves microcirculation and relaxes the skin while providing comfort and nutrition.

Universal moisturizing oil: used after a shower or on damp skin to seal in moisture.
