Decyl Oleate is an ester formed from decanol (decyl alcohol) and oleic acid. It appears as a clear, yellow liquid.

Uses and benefits :
Oleic acid is an omega-9 fatty acid found in various oils and seeds. It forms part of the skin's natural lipid barrier. When decyl oleate is used in a product, it forms an occlusive film on the surface of the skin or hair.
It is used in facial moisturizers, anti-aging treatments and sunscreens.

This ingredient has a high comedogenic potential.
