Family: NEO HELIOPAN,Recent UV filter SHORT UVA, LONG UVA

Comedogenic index: 0

DISODIUM PHENYL DIBENZIMIDAZOLE TETRASULFONATE, known as NEO HELIOPAN, is a new organic UV filter that protects the skin from UVA II rays (mainly from 320 to 350 nm), with maximum absorption at 335 nm. Unlike most other sunscreens, it is water-soluble rather than oil-soluble, helping formulators to create less oily sunscreens.

It also has a good safety profile with very low skin penetration and is approved up to 10% in the EU and almost everywhere else except the USA (due to old and bad FDA regulations concerning sunscreens).
