Extracted from the seeds of the Pongamia Glabra tree, Karanja oil varies in color from yellow to brown and has a discreet odor reminiscent of walnuts.

Fatty Acid Composition
Essential fatty acids: It contains fatty acids such as palmitic acid (9 to 12%), linoleic acid (Omega 6, 15 to 25%), linolenic acid (Omega 3, 2 to 5%), behenic acid (3 to 5%), as well as karanjin (2 to 3%) and pongamol (0.4% to 0.7%).
