Emollient and moisturizer: Wild rose oil is an excellent emollient, suitable for all skin types thanks to its fatty acid content.

Tretinoin in RR: Rosa Rubiginosa is reputed to contain tretinoin, a powerful skin care active ingredient, although this claim is not confirmed for Rosa Canina.
In short, wild rose oil, whether from Rosa Rubiginosa or Rosa Canina, offers moisturizing and nourishing benefits for the skin thanks to its richness in fatty acids and antioxidant components.

Botanically known as Rosa canina, the musk rose is a thorny shrub, closely related to the rosehip, which belongs to the Rosaceae family. Bushes of this rose (Rosa canina or R. mosqueta) grow wild in the Andes valleys of Chile. Rosa mosqueta oil has been used for centuries by the inhabitants of the Andes to treat dry skin, reduce wrinkles and combat acne.

Virgin rosehip oil is obtained by cold-pressing the seeds harvested from the plant's fruit, followed by filtration on cellulose paper. Its reddish-orange color is due to its high beta-carotene content. Its light fragrance makes it pleasant to use. It is rather greasy to the touch and very sensitive to oxidation. It is therefore best kept away from heat and light, in a hermetically sealed amber bottle.
