Gluconolactone (PHA) and lactic acid (AHA) promote cell renewal by loosening the bonds between corneocytes, while fat-soluble salicylic acid (BHA) penetrates the pore to regulate follicular hyperkeratosis. Malic acid and phytic acid complete this exfoliating action, while exerting a chelating effect on heavy metals. Niacinamide (vitamin B3) helps even skin tone, regulate sebum production and strengthen the skin barrier. Urea and sorbitol ensure hydration through a humectant effect, offsetting the drying potential of acids. Horseradish, burdock and arnica extracts provide purifying and soothing properties, while sulfur boosts sebum-regulating action. Allantoin contributes to soothing and cell healing. This product is particularly suitable for oily or combination skin, prone to texture irregularities or dilated pores. The presence of PHA makes it a better-tolerated option than pure AHA-based versions for slightly reactive skin, although gradual acclimatization is still recommended.
