Caudalie's Vinoclean make-up remover oil is based on a lipid base of sunflower oil (*Helianthus annuus*), caprylic/capric triglycerides and castor oil (*Ricinus communis*), which effectively dissolve greasy make-up residues, including waterproof formulas, according to the lipid-in-lipid solubilization principle. Sweet almond oil (*Prunus amygdalus dulcis*) provides oleic and linoleic fatty acids that support the skin's barrier function, while grape seed oil (*Vitis vinifera*), rich in linoleic acid and polyphenols, helps limit oxidative stress. Polyglyceryl-4-oleate, a plant-derived emulsifier, enables the oil to be easily rinsed off with water without leaving a residual oily film. Tocopherol (vitamin E) plays an antioxidant role, stabilizing the formula and protecting skin lipids. This product is particularly suitable for dry to normal skin, as well as for sensitive skin tolerant to vegetable oils; it is less suited to acne-prone skin due to the presence of castor oil and sweet almond oil, potentially comedogenic according to skin profiles.

an effective oil that doesn't sting the eyes
I use Caudalie oil as the first step in a double cleansing routine in the evening, and particularly to remove eye make-up ... It doesn't sting, is very effective and I don't hesitate to buy it again regularly.

good cleansing oil but doesn't remove waterproof mascara very well - you have to really insist and it stings the eyes too.
