This exfoliating toner from Cosrx combines two families of acids for targeted keratolytic action. Glycolic acid (AHA) acts on the surface by dissolving the bonds between corneocytes, promoting cell renewal and radiance. Betaine salicylate (BHA mild) penetrates pores thanks to its liposolubility, regulating sebum production and limiting blackhead formation. Sodium lactate completes this exfoliating action while contributing to hydration through its humectant effect. Allantoin and panthenol play a soothing, repairing role, reducing potential acid-related irritation. The base, formulated with white willow bark water and apple water, provides polyphenols with light antioxidant properties. This product is suitable for acne-prone, oily or combination skin showing irregularities of texture, dilated pores or a dull complexion. It is not recommended for very sensitive or reactive skin without gradual habituation, and requires the application of a sunscreen during the day due to the photosensitizing potential of AHAs.
