Horace's Purifying Cleansing Gel is based on a gentle cleansing base of plant-derived surfactants - decyl glucoside and coco-glucoside - that ensure cleansing without altering the hydrolipidic film. Glycerine and aloe barbadensis leaf juice provide moisturizing and soothing action, limiting the drying effect often associated with purifying formulas. Zinc PCA regulates sebaceous secretion by acting on the activity of the sebaceous glands, while charcoal powder adsorbs impurities and excess sebum on the surface. Allantoin completes the formula with its gentle, soothing keratolytic properties, promoting superficial cell renewal. Preservation is ensured by a combination of benzyl alcohol, sodium dehydroacetate, sodium benzoate and potassium sorbate, while tocopherol (vitamin E) plays an antioxidant role. This product is particularly suitable for combination to oily skin prone to imperfections or enlarged pores, but can also be used by normal skin looking for effective, non-aggressive daily cleansing.

too drying for my skin
I tried it, as did my friend, and we found that it cleansed well but dried out our skin too much after use. However, we don't have particularly dry skin.

The charcoal it contains is drying. My skin isn't particularly dry, but it still feels tight after cleansing. I also gave it to a friend who had the same problem.
