La Roche-Posay Lipikar Huile Lavante is a body cleanser formulated for dry to very dry skin, including atopic skin. Its cleansing base combines **sodium laureth sulfate** and **cocobetaine**, gentle surfactants that remove impurities without excessively damaging the hydrolipidic film. The **PEG-7 glyceryl cocoate** and **PEG-60 hydrogenated castor oil** act as emollients and solubilizers, providing an oily sensation when rinsing while limiting the drying effect of washing. Shea butter glycerides (PEG-75 shea butter glycerides)** contribute to lipid replenishment and post-rinse skin comfort. Niacinamide** (vitamin B3) reinforces the barrier function by stimulating ceramide synthesis, and reduces insensible water loss. Hydroxypropyl guar hydroxypropyl trimonium chloride** is a conditioning agent that improves the skin's glide and feel during rinsing. This product is particularly suitable for dry, reactive skin or skin prone to atopic eczema, as well as for the skin of infants and children in this context, subject to individual tolerance to the fragrance present in the formula.
