L'Amande Huile de Douche by L'Occitane en Provence is an oily-textured body cleanser formulated around a combination of plant oils. Sweet almond oil (*Prunus amygdalus dulcis oil*) is the main active ingredient: rich in monounsaturated (oleic) and polyunsaturated (linoleic) fatty acids, it supports the skin's barrier function and helps limit insensible water loss. Grapeseed oil (*Vitis vinifera seed oil*) and sunflower oil (*Helianthus annuus seed oil*) provide complementary essential fatty acids, while caprylic/capric triglycerides (fractionated coconut oil) ensure fluid spreadability and light emolliency. The surfactant system is based on TIPA-laureth sulfate and laureth-3, gentle foaming agents, combined with cocamide MEA as a thickener and foam stabilizer. Tocopherol (vitamin E) plays an antioxidant role, protecting oils from oxidation. Rosemary extract (*Rosmarinus officinalis*) reinforces this protection. This product is particularly suitable for dry to very dry skin, as well as sensitive skin looking for a cleanser that doesn't compromise the hydrolipidic film. Please note: the presence of limonene, linalool and coumarin (reportable fragrance allergens) requires vigilance for people prone to contact allergies.
