SVR Topialyse Baume Lavant is a superfatted cleanser formulated for dry to very dry, sensitive and atopic skin. Its cleansing base combines sodium C14-16 olefin sulfonate, cocoin betaine and coco-glucoside, gentle surfactants that eliminate impurities while limiting damage to the hydrolipidic film. Glycerine and pentylene glycol act as humectants, retaining water in the superficial layers of the epidermis. Saccharide isomerate (a structural analogue of the natural moisturizing factor) boosts the skin's long-term moisture retention capacity. Alpha-glucan oligosaccharide supports the skin microbiome by acting as a prebiotic. Niacinamide (vitamin B3) helps strengthen the skin barrier by stimulating ceramide synthesis, and attenuates mild inflammatory reactions. Coconut and cottonseed oils, as well as glyceryl oleate, provide lipids to compensate for wash-induced losses. Tocopherol and tocopheryl acetate (vitamin E) complete the formula with antioxidant action. This product is particularly suitable for atopy-prone skin, reactive skin and people suffering from chronic skin dryness, including children.

It's the last straw for a product sold as the brand's richest cleanser. It cleanses, undeniably, but the moisturizing phase does not last. prefer the oil of the same brand

I've been using this jelly daily for months and have never felt any irritation. I wash my face and hair with it occasionally, and I'm happy with the results. There's not much of a lather, but I don't mind.
