Typology's organic peppermint hydrosol is a floral water obtained by steam distillation of the *Mentha piperita* plant (flowers, leaves and stems). It naturally contains volatile mint compounds, notably menthol, which give this product its refreshing, slightly astringent and soothing properties. These active ingredients act by tightening pores, moderately regulating sebum and providing an immediate sensation of freshness on the skin. The formula is completed by purified water and a preservative system composed of benzyl alcohol and dehydroacetic acid, ensuring the product's microbiological stability. This hydrolat is particularly suitable for combination to oily skin prone to imperfections or dilated pores. It can be used as a toning lotion after cleansing, as a refreshing mist during the day, or as an aqueous base in home care products. Sensitive or reactive skin should use with caution, due to menthol's potentially irritating effect.

This hydrosol smells good if you like mint, it's refreshing and pleasant, but I can't see any effect on my face.
