Glycerin ensures moisture retention during rinsing. The main active ingredient, Centella asiatica extract, is recognized for its soothing and repairing properties, notably via its triterpene derivatives (madecassoside, asiaticoside) which support the cutaneous barrier. The formula also includes a combination of essential amino acids (glutamine, leucine, phenylalanine, lysine, arginine, valine, threonine, isoleucine, methionine, tryptophan) which help maintain the hydrolipidic film and the structural integrity of the epidermis. Botanical extracts (chamomile, sage, rosehip, jasmine, mint, lavender, rosemary, lemon balm) provide complementary antioxidant and soothing properties, although their concentrations at the end of the list are probably low. This product is suitable for normal to combination skin with a reactive tendency or prone to redness, but should be used with caution on very dry or atopic skin due to its surfactant profile.
