Sodium hyaluronate ensures surface hydration through a hygroscopic effect, while sodium PCA, a natural component of the skin's natural moisturizing factor (NMH), reinforces water retention in the upper layers of the epidermis. Sunflower oil (*Helianthus annuus*) and tocopherol (vitamin E) provide additional antioxidant protection. The formula contains PEG-7 glyceryl cocoate and polysorbate 20 as solubilizing agents, giving it a light, aqueous texture.
