This exfoliating lotion combines two types of hydroxy acids: gluconolactone and lactobionic acid, both PHAs (polyhydroxy acids) at 4%, with the addition of salicylic acid (BHA), whose concentration is unspecified but likely to remain at 0.5-2%. PHAs exert a gentle keratolytic action on the surface, promoting cell renewal without deep penetration, making them particularly suitable for sensitive or reactive skin. Fat-soluble salicylic acid penetrates pores and regulates sebum production, targeting blemishes and blackheads. The formula also incorporates panthenol and glycerine for moisturizing and soothing, as well as several plant extracts - prickly pear cactus, *Saccharomyces cerevisiae* yeast, common reed and *Poria cocos* - with antioxidant and regulating properties. This product is suitable for combination to oily skin prone to imperfections, but also for sensitive skin wishing to initiate chemical exfoliation, thanks to the greater tolerance of PHAs compared to conventional AHAs.

My favorite toner
This is my favorite toner (along with Paula's Choice Calm Extra Strength), it exfoliates well without damaging the skin, and it's very easy to use. You put a little on before all the other serums and that's enough. Gluconolactone and lactobionic acid are among my favorite active ingredients, as they improve skin texture. What's more, it contains panthenol, an active ingredient my skin loves too!

Good daily support for vitamin C
I use it every morning to dilute Garancia's vitamin C powder. it's not at all aggressive despite its low pH. otherwise, it's nothing exceptional and can only be found on the net. not excessively expensive.
