Avène Gentle Exfoliating Gel is an exfoliating cleanser formulated for sensitive skin requiring gentle removal of dead cells. It combines cellulose microbeads, a non-abrasive mechanical exfoliant, with zinc gluconate, which regulates sebum production and has purifying properties. Niacinamide (vitamin B3) helps even out skin tone, tighten pores and strengthen the skin barrier. Glycerol and pentylene glycol ensure surface hydration during rinsing, while jojoba esters contribute to the creaminess of the texture and post-application comfort. Sodium salicylate provides a light keratolytic action to complement mechanical exfoliation. Coco-glucoside, a plant-derived surfactant, ensures cleansing without unbalancing the hydrolipidic film. This product is suitable for combination to oily skins prone to imperfections, as well as sensitive skins wishing to integrate regular exfoliation without risk of irritation. It is not recommended for skin with active lesions or hypersensitivity to fragrance.
