Its filtering system combines four chemical and organic UV filters - diethylamino hydroxybenzoyl hexyl benzoate, ethylhexyl triazone, phenylene bis-diphenyltriazine and bis-ethylhexyloxyphenol methoxyphenyl triazine - providing high-level broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection (SPF 50+), thus limiting UV-induced melanocyte stimulation. Azelaic acid, a benchmark depigmenting active ingredient, acts by inhibiting tyrosinase, the key enzyme in melanin synthesis, helping to reduce existing spots and prevent their reappearance. Glycerine provides basic hydration, while rice and tapioca starches give a light, matte texture suitable for combination to oily skin. This fluid is particularly suitable for skins with pigmentation irregularities, especially as a complement to depigmenting treatments, and is part of a strict daily photoprotection routine, essential for any effective anti-spot protocol.
