Glycerol (glycerin) acts as a humectant, capturing water molecules in the superficial layers of the epidermis, while hyaluronic acid in two molecular forms - high-molecular-weight sodium hyaluronate and low-molecular-weight hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid - ensures surface and deep hydration. Hydrolyzed soy protein (Glycine Soja Protein) helps strengthen the skin barrier and improve local elasticity. Caffeine, renowned for its mild vasoconstrictive properties, can help visually diminish dark circles and reduce the puffiness associated with microcirculatory stasis. The formula is stabilized by a gentle preservative system combining caprylyl glycol, ethylhexylglycerin, potassium sorbate and sodium benzoate. This product is suitable for dehydrated to normal skin showing signs of fatigue around the eyes, including sensitive skin, thanks to the absence of fragrance and the skin tolerance generally associated with La Roche-Posay formulations.
