The Ordinary: Anti-ageing and anti-wrinkle routine
The Ordinary Anti-Aging and Anti-Wrinkle Morning Routine
Start by exfoliating your skin
In the morning, you can start your routine by using an exfoliating product, which will not only improve skin texture and texture, but also promote cell renewal and stimulate collagen regeneration. For this, I recommend using alpha hydroxy acid, and The Ordinary has quite a few exfoliants of this type. I'll give you my opinion on The Ordinary and exfoliants.
Among products that can be applied and not rinsed off, the glycolic acid 7% toning solution is the most powerful, formulated with a PH of 3.6 for good effectiveness without being too irritating. This exfoliant has a light texture and also contains soothing and moisturizing ingredients such as aloe vera, glycerine, urea, ginseng and amino acids.

You can also choose a product with lactic acid, which is larger than glycolic acid and therefore gentler, and has the advantage of being an excellent natural humectant. There are two versions, one with 10% and another with 5% of lactic acid, the PH is always 3.6 and it also contains hyaluronic acid to moisturize and tasmanian fruit extract, a soothing ingredient.

And finally, the third is mandelic acid, which is much larger in size than the other two, so it penetrates less deeply into the epidermis, making it gentler than the other two. If you have sensitive skin, I recommend mandelic acid, if you need a powerful exfoliant, you can opt for glycolic acid and if you need hydration, lactic acid is for you.
We use anti-oxidant serums
If you have combination or oily skin, a serum with 12% ascorbyl glucoside is a good choice. This vitamin C derivative is very stable and soluble in water, with a PH that varies between 6 and 7, so don't apply it just after your exfoliant, but wait a while.
If you have dry skin, you can opt for the serum with 3% resveratrol and 3% ferulic acid, which contain two very good antioxidants. The other option if you have dry skin is a serum with ascorbyl tetraisopalmitate, a fat-soluble derivative of vitamin C known for its complexion-enhancing and anti-aging action.
Apply sunscreen
After applying the serum of your choice, I advise you to continue with your SPF 50 sun cream to neutralize the harmful effects of UV rays.
The Ordinary Anti age evening routine
In the evening, I propose two routines to be performed alternately every other evening.
On the first evening, you can start with the multi peptide + HA serum, formerly known as Buffet. This is both a moisturizing and an anti-aging serum. Hydration is provided by glycerine, hyaluronic acid and amino acids, and anti-aging action by peptides that target dynamic wrinkles, such as argireline, and peptides that boost collagen production, such as matrixyl.

After applying this serum, you can incorporate retinol, which is the best anti-aging ingredient as it stimulates the production of collagen, elastic and hyaluronic acid to reduce wrinkles. However, I advise you to start small, with the 0.2% retinol serum, and once you've tolerated it perfectly well, you can move on to a concentration of 0.5% and finally use the 1% retinol + squalane serum.

The other evening, I recommend using le buffet + copper peptide serum, as numerous studies have shown very interesting results on the role of copper peptides in collagen production. What's more, this serum also contains other peptides such as Matrixyl and Argirelox, as well as hyaluronic acid and a posbiotic, making it moisturizing and soothing for the skin.
Choosing the right moisturizer
At the end of your evening routine, don't forget to apply your moisturizing cream according to your skin type. Natural moisturizing factor is a good moisturizer, ideal for combination to oily skin.
The peeling mask to increase the effectiveness of this routine
On the other hand, to increase the effectiveness of this basic routine, you can carry out a more extensive exfoliation once every 15 days using the peeling solution which contains 30% AHA and 2% BHA. This product is very powerful and will therefore perfectly complement the previous routine. However, if you are using it for the first time, I recommend that you apply it for no more than 5 minutes at first. This peel deactivates with water, so you need to rinse your face thoroughly to neutralize it. The real benefit of this product is to improve skin texture and reduce wrinkles and pigmentation spots on the face.
As with the previous routine, feel free to modify this routine according to your experience and skin type.
