Why is Azelaic Acid Suspension not recommended for oily skin?
Azelaic acid itself is excellent (redness score 93.5 - catalog record, stains 78.2). The problem is the silicone/fat suspension formulation base - too heavy for oily skin. fluffy under other products and unsuitable for make-up. It's not the asset that's at issue, it's the vehicle..
