Sodium hyaluronate, a saline form of hyaluronic acid, acts as a humectant, capturing water molecules in the superficial layers of the epidermis, helping to maintain skin hydration levels. Glycerine reinforces this hygroscopic effect. Rosa damascena floral water and rose essential oil, combined with Jasminum sambac extract, provide phenolic compounds with light antioxidant properties. Hylocereus undatus fruit extract (pitaya) and cucumber extract (Cucumis sativus) complete the formula with polysaccharides and amino acids that contribute to skin comfort. Pearl powder, composed mainly of calcium carbonate and amino acids, is traditionally used for its smoothing and surface brightening action. Honey (Mel) provides humectant and softening properties. Sandalwood oil (Santalum album) contributes to the sensorial aspect and has documented soothing properties.
